Performance Art - Senior Thesis Performance
A Murmur From Earth is my Senior Thesis Performance in the Multimedia, Electronic, and Musical Experimentation department at Brown University. A sci-fi space opera, it chronicles a lonely android named ANDi who lives on the Voyager 2 spacecraft. Accompanied by a small turtle, Andi's mission is to educate any extraterrestrial life it may encounter about the human race and carbon-based life forms. But when Andi realizes its turtle friend won't last forever, it delves into a frenzied search for chelonian (adj.: of or relating to turtles, tortoises, or terrapins) food at the outskirts of the solar system.
It features live music, multiple projections, custom animations, and interactive visuals.
The piece was performed in it's entirety at Brown's Grant Recital Hall on April 7th and 8th, 2018.
