The group that started it all – The Next Best Western, named after a jazz tune by Chris Potter, was my high school band. We wrote and self-produced this album, Living Communications, all in our drummer's bedroom.
Some of it makes me cringe, but the outro to 'Coney Island' is and always will be a certified banger.
